6th – 7th  category  - Srikar Karkala

The CKW Academy Annual Grammar Bowl is a simple, game-show-style event, with parents and community members making up the audience.

Dr. Melissa Edwards, Director and Founder of CKW Academy said, “We are incredibly happy to be able to bring this event back to the community after two years. Although last year our Academy did have some in-person classes, we did not think it would be safe to have an event with a crowd at that time. Many of our students missed this opportunity, and they really wanted it back. So, this year, we brought it back, and we were impressed with the seriousness of our little but serious grammarians.”

Parents said they were happy to have this motivating event available once again because it helps get their children to focus on learning grammar.

Edwards said now that CKW Academy can hold events again, the Academy looks forward to holding the 8th annual Vocabulary Bowl on April 29.

CKW Academy is a language arts and creative writing program with centers located in South Brunswick and Cranbury, with even an international option available through the remote-class program.

CKW Academy started in 2010 and has also published City Kidz World magazine for 14 years.
