When we started City Kidz World literary magazine in 2008, we imagined a publication for children that would encourage students to engage in creative and serious writing and art work. We started small, with a magazine of about 16 pages and announcements for writing challenges! After a couple of years of distributing our small publication across New Jersey and online, we started to receive many stories and poems. We now receive thousands of submissions from students across New Jersey and across the world. This is our largest issue yet, with 88 pages and over 100 students published. This is the greatest reward that any teacher could receive. Thank you for joining City Kidz World literary magazine in this creative endeavor!
If you are not a student writer, but would like to be involved in this project, please reach out. Volunteers from the high school and college communities are welcome. If you are a parent who would like to volunteer, we would love to have your help as well.
We also have a way for you to contribute financially to help with production, printing, and distribution. Send a donation of any amount to City Kidz World, P.O. Box 5294, Kendall Park, NJ 08824 to help support the magazine. You can also find the donation link on our website:
